RUNENWALD Fichtenherz is part of our RUNENWALD series – a range of distinctive Ritual Meads inspired by Nordic landscapes and the raw character of nature. Compared with more traditional meads, the RUNENWALD varieties have a higher honey content, giving them more body and texture while deliberately leaning towards a spicier, drier flavour profile.

Fichtenherz is brewed with dark forest honey and refined with extracts of pine and poplar buds. The result is a bold, resinous and spicy mead with a subtle dryness and a character reminiscent of coniferous forests, tree resin and the cool depth of northern woodlands.

Fichtenherz shows another side of the RUNENWALD series: less earthy, but greener, more resinous and more clearly defined by its woodland aromatics. A Ritual Mead for those who enjoy their mead bold, unusual and with a pronounced natural character.
